Event Promotion
Intonation music
Collateral for a fundraising event for Intonation, a Chicago nonprofit that mentors South Side youth— building confidence through making of music by providing lessons, instruments and encouragement. Due to the COVID pandemic, this was the first time in several years that the event was to occur in person so the event collateral was designed to reflect the excitement and joy of performing in community.
Dartmouth College
Collateral for an event at Jazz at Lincoln Center in appreciation of top alumni donors in the New York City area. Fonts and graphics are inspired by classic album covers from Blue Note Records. The invitation emulates a CD cover, with the event details and reply card tucked into an inside pocket. The program extends this graphic and typographic theme using a unique cross-shaped format that allows all the copy to fit elegantly into a small space.
University of Chicago booth School of Business
Management Conference program and promotional postcards positioned to appeal to a new generation of business school alumni.
The 2006 Alumni Weekend program reiterated imagery teased in prior collateral and included a gift pack of retro-styled postcard of Chicago and campus attractions.
With the theme, “The World is Coming to Chicago,” The 2005 Alumni Weekend collateral highlighted an international group of Distinguished Alumni Award winners (including the first lady of the Ukraine), and the city of Chicago itself, promoted as a world-class destination. A save-the-date card in the shape of a passport, an invitation designed as a plane ticket, and travel imagery and icons throughout help to create a buzz and a visual identity for the event.
