About
My professional marketing background has its roots in a lifelong love of nature, art, and design.
Growing up in Vermont, I spent my days climbing trees in the woods behind our house, searching out wild strawberries in the yard, and experiencing the pure pleasure of eating a carrot straight from the ground.
As an adult, my passion for the arts led me to Chicago and soon grew into a career in design and communications. The past 20 years have been spent providing individuals, small marketing agencies, and internal communication departments expertise in messaging and strategy, print and digital design, and telling compelling brand stories.
In 2018, I decided to pursue a different passion. I left my full-time marketing job and returned to Vermont for a deep-dive into organic farming practices and issues around food access.
Today, with a certificate in organic farming under my belt, my goal is to use my fluency in both marketing and communications and farm and food systems to help local farms and small community-focused businesses succeed in the marketplace.
